George Michael Bunner is looking for buddies he served with while at Lai Khe on about Oct 7 1969. He was with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Infantry Division from 20 Oct 1969 - 10 Nov 1969. On a list dated 23 December 1969 is listed the following information : BUNNER, GEORGE M, SPECIALIST FOUR United States Army Company A 1st Engineer Battalion. Date of action : 30 July 1969 to 30 November 1969 and a Citation of the Army Commendation Medal awarded to : SPECIALIST FOUR GEORGE M. BUNNER, COMPANY A, 1ST ENGINEER BATTALION, 1ST INFANTRY DIVISION. Date of action : 26 July 1969 to 30 November 1969. Anybody who remembers him is welcome to contact him at 6035 Thunderbird Drive, Mentor, Ohio 44060 or contact his brother Charles David Bunner on the net. The latter served in Vietnam too, but as a Navy Corpsman and was wounded at Khe Sanh on April 20, 1968.

Leonard Goldstein. I was the bandleader of the 79th Inf. Div. and stayed in the army of occupation after the 79th returned to the States. After a spell with the XV Corps as Entertainment Officer, I was assigned as bandleader of the 1st Inf. Div. in Regensburg, Germany for about 1 year in 1946 replacing Warrant Officer Ruppert who had been the bandleader for quite some time but returned to the States on points. I would like to find his address since I've been told that he is still alive. Is it possible that you have this information for me ?

Vance G. Brock.. My dad served with the 26th Infantry, "Company E", 8 March 1946 - 4 January 1947. His name is Vance G. Brok. Do you have any info that might be helpful? Thanks, Curtis G. Brock

John Christensen. My grandfather, Frederic Christensen, served with the 26th Regiment of the First Division in WWI in the battle of the Meuse-Argonne. I interested in finding more intricate details of their engagement and other things. Need help in where I can search for such information.

Paul Durant. I was attached to the 1st Signal Company, 1st Infantry Division, 7th Army during the period of 1952-1954 in Wuerzburg. I cannot find any information regarding that period. It's like we didn't exist. Any other inquiries regarding this period?

Thomas Hannan. My father John Edward Hannan was a drummer with the Big Red One in England, Belgium and Germany. He was overseas from 1942 to 1945 Sept. Any recollection of him ?

John Callaghan. I was in the 1st Signal Co., 1st Infantry Division also but from September 1940 to June 1945. I also would like info about the 1st Signal Co.
